We don’t like the term “consulting”, because of the tired, uninteresting historical connotation. So we’d rather say we are Freelance Startup Professionals. The focus of our freelance professional services is to provide you with help bridging the knowledge gap in certain areas. The goal is to provide short term execution of mutually agreed upon tasks. At some point in the development of their startups, founders can sometimes face situations where they need a new perspective or they could benefit from our multifaceted experience. In those cases we sit down with you to identify where our skills set can be better utilized. We set up a timeline. We provide you with a workplan and budget and we execute. You now have a floating operations, marketing, CTO and regulatory professional on your team.

Our emphasis is on integration and collaboration. We don’t subscribe to the theory of “our way or the highway”, rather we want to integrate into your work environment, mesh with your corporate culture and collaborate with your team on your terms. With that said, of course if we identify structural or fundamental incongruencies with the organization, that might affect the bottom line we will discuss them with you promptly. At the end of the day our goal is to come in, identify, implement and execute our tasks in order to achieve the predetermined goals, with the least amount of disruption to your team.

Fees Structure: (Consulting Fees)

Like we mentioned above we look to design a work plan that works for your particular startups needs. The work plan is curated for you based on your pain points and asks. Our fee structure is task based. As a general rule we don’t believe in hourly fees. It puts us in an adversarial, conflicted position as it pertains to our customers. Meaning, in an hourly fee-based approach, for us to make more money we need to take longer to achieve our preestablished goals. The more hours we work the more revenue comes in. Fundamentally that is irrational and not what we are after. In fact how could we be good advisors if we are perpetuating this model. In our project or task based fee structure, we bring in more revenue by helping you solve problems and meeting our customers goals faster. That means that we want to deliver tangible results for you in the most effective way possible. That works for us.

We channel creative energy through a data focused approach to prove the value of your business model or to develop or iterate your existing business model to make sure that your startup is focusing where it needs to.
